Now that winter is here, I'm finally catching up on a ton of computer work, blogging, updating...blah blah blah. This past fall has been nonstop, both work and travel wise. After returning from Alaska, I decided last minute to take a 2 week camping trip with my best bud Ryan (who lives in Chicago and who I dont get to see nearly enough). We flew out to Denver, rented a Fait 500 (if you know of it, you are probably laughing at the thought of two grow men driving it) then drove around the wild west for a few weeks. We headed up to Glacier National Park and then made our way south through Yellow Stone and Grand Tentons. Amazing. Here are a few photos.
Glacier National Park. Amazing.
Driving through Glacier. Very hazy due to forest fires.
A days hike and 3,000 ft climb into back country.
Back country in bear country.
Yellow Stone.
Summer of forest fires. Paradise Valley, Montana.
Grand Tetons! I Love MOUNTAINS!
Grand Tetons back country.
Grand Tetons with a nasty afternoon storm rolling in.
Messing around at 10,000 ft.
More messing around back country Grand Tetons.
Early morning starts + campfire coffee = best start to a summers day. (Grand Tetons)
